Ronald Nguyen is an attorney at The Law Office of Ronald Nguyen, LLC. The Law Office of Ronald Nguyen, LLC focuses on Immigration, Criminal, Family Law, and Personal Injury Law; however, Mr. Nguyen has taken a variety of cases within Missouri. As the former Supervising Immigration Attorney for Legal Aid of Western Missouri, he handled all Legal Aid immigration cases for the Western District of Missouri and migrants residing in the Eastern District of Kansas. Mr. Nguyen focuses in immigration law with an emphasis in Naturalization and Family Based Immigration. Mr. Nguyen worked with local community agencies to provide updates in immigration law and inform the community about potential immigration scams. Mr. Nguyen’s interest in pro bono immigration work originates from his parents being helped through the immigration process as refugees from Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen has and continues to serve on multiple legal and non-legal committees, non-profit boards, and leadership programs. In December 2015, Mr. Nguyen received the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Section, President’s Award. In October 2016, Mr. Nguyen received the Missouri Lawyers Weekly, Up and Coming Award in Public Service. In December 2016, Mr. Nguyen received the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s President’s Award on behalf of the Asian American Bar Association of Kansas City, which he served as the President. Mr. Nguyen was selected for SuperLawyer's Rising Star in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. In 2022, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association awarded Mr. Nguyen with the Distinguished Counselor award. Mr. Nguyen received his B.A. at the Loyola University of Chicago and his J.D. at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

In addition to Mr. Nguyen's legal work, he serves and had served on many boards. Currently, Mr. Nguyen serves on the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation as the Legal Advisor, on the ACLU of Missouri as a board member, and on the Missouri Supreme Court’s Racial and Ethnic Fairness Commission as an appointed Co-Chair of the Civil Committee. Mr. Nguyen was a former President of the Asian American Bar Association of Kansas City, a former President of the Vietnamese American Community of Greater Kansas City, the former appointed Chair of the Missouri Bar Regional Disciplinary Committee – Region IV, Div. I.​

Mr. Nguyen has attended multiple NITA's Kansas City Deposition Skills Program, the ABA Collaborative Bar Leadership Academy, the Missouri Bar Leadership Academy, the ABA Trial Advocacy Training, the KCMBA Bar Leadership Academy, and the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy.​ Similarly, Mr. Nguyen has spoken at both local, state, and national panels.
